Job summary

EY is seeking an Assistant Director of Data Engineering & Analytics Platforms in the United States. You will shape enterprise data, analytics and AI capabilities, partnering with leaders to set technical direction and deliver modern data platforms.

You will lead architecture decisions, mentor teams and drive secure, scalable, high-performing solutions. You’ll advance AI adoption, guide engineering teams, and influence enterprise data platform evolution while coordinating onshore and offshore

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technology discipline.
8 to 12 years of progressive professional experience in data engineering, data platforms, analytics engineering or a related technology-delivery field.
Hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise data solutions using Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for enterprise data, analytics and AI platform initiatives from requirements through deployment and production support.
Guide architecture and solution-design decisions to ensure security, scalability and quality.
Lead technical workstreams and multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing, deployment and production support.
Review data pipelines, platform integrations and analytics solutions for reliability and performance.
Manage technical risks and delivery timelines with governance and quality controls.
Coach and mentor team members and promote best engineering practices.
