Job summary

EY is seeking an Assistant Director for Data Engineering & Analytics Platforms in the US. You will lead enterprise data and AI platform initiatives, mentor teams, and guide architecture decisions to deliver scalable solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks and cloud platforms.

You will drive adoption of generative AI and AI-powered analytics, influence agent architecture, and ensure governance and security across distributed teams. A strong technical leadership background is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technology discipline.
• 8 to 12 years of progressive professional experience in data engineering or analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership to development teams.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric (at least one).
• Strong knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, integration, modelling, testing, monitoring and production support.
• Experience guiding architecture and solution design decisions.
• Experience leading or supporting onshore/offshore delivery models and knowledge-transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for enterprise data, analytics and AI platform initiatives.
• Guide architecture and solution-design decisions to meet requirements.
• Lead technical workstreams and multidisciplinary teams through lifecycle stages.
• Review designs, pipelines and analytics solutions for reliability and performance.
• Manage risks, dependencies and delivery timelines with governance.
