Job summary

The Goddard School of Princeton, TX is seeking a motivated Assistant Director to help oversee daily operations, support the Director, and uphold licensing and quality standards across the school.

You will lead staff, participate in curriculum implementation of our Wonder of Learning program, engage families and the wider community, ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance, and foster a loving, high-quality learning environment for children.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education.
• Strong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices, team leadership and classroom management.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass state background checks and meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the School
• Staff Management: Support the recruitment, training, development and supervision of staff
• Curriculum and Program Development: Assist in implementing the Wonder of Learning program to spark curiosity and growth
• Family and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with families
• Health and Safety: Conduct safety drills and ensure licensing compliance
