Job summary

The Goddard School of Loveland, OH is seeking an Assistant Director to assist in daily operations, staff oversight, and licensing compliance while fostering strong relationships with families and the community.

Reporting to the Director, you will help implement our Wonder of Learning program, lead staff development, and maintain a nurturing environment that supports children's growth and a love of learning.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required in early childhood or related field.
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience in early childhood education.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and best practices in early learning.
  • Pass state background checks and meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the school.
  • Staff Management: Support recruitment, training, development and supervision of staff.
  • Curriculum and Program Development: Assist in implementing the Wonder of Learning program.
  • Family and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with families.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure safety drills and licensing regulations are followed.

The Goddard School is looking for a motivated, self-starter for an Assistant Director position at our School! The Curriculum Coordinator will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the school, ensuring the highest standards of education and care. This role involves supporting the Director in managing staff, maintaining compliance with licensing requirements and fostering positive relationships with families and the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the School
  • Staff Management: Support the recruitment, training, development and supervision of staff

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education
  • Strong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices, team leadership and classroom management
  • Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • A genuine love for children and commitment to providing high-quality education
  • Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
