Job summary

The successful candidate will bring a 1–3 year track record in supervision or program management, a public or related degree, and strong communication, organizational, and digital skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public/business admin or related field with 1–3 years supervisory or program management experience.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with digital tools including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and website management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic planning, policy development, and community needs assessments.
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate staff and volunteers to foster a high-performing and welcoming environment.
• Lead programming and engagement initiatives for older adults and their families, including partnerships with local organizations.
• Represent Shrewsbury in state and regional coalitions, networks, and events.
• Promote services through public outreach, media relations, and communication tools like newsletters and social media.
• Serve as the lead for Senior Center payroll, accounts payable (AP), and invoice processing.
• Contribute to budget development, reporting, and program evaluation.
• Provide direct support services, information, and advocacy for older residents and caregivers.
