Job summary

Developmental Services, Inc. (DSI) in Kokomo, IN, seeks an Assistant Director, Community Services to coordinate program development under HCBS and supervise staff. You will monitor regulatory standards, schedule trainings, and help craft curricula that engage clients meaningfully.

You will foster partnerships, manage scheduling for billing, oversee investigations, and ensure client satisfaction through regular observations and liaison work with families and providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in applicable field is preferred.
• Minimum three years of related experience desired.
• Ability to obtain CPR, NCI, and First Aid annually.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with program development and administration within HCBS.
• Monitor regulatory standards to assure services remain in compliance.
• Schedule trainings and ensure staff remain in training compliance.
• Develop departmental training programs to improve staff quality.
• Monitor and evaluate client activities and instructional delivery.
• Assist curriculum development with lesson plans and activities.
• Foster community partnerships for meaningful client activities.
• Schedule to maximize billing utilization and track PTO/absences.
• Investigate issues, conduct timely investigations, and document outcomes.
• Monitor client satisfaction surveys and quarterly observations.
• Serve as liaison among clients, staff, families, case managers, and providers.
• Participate in monthly staff meetings and annual/quarterly client meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist with disciplinary concerns and required discipline for DSPs.
• Participate in intake processes and incident report follow-ups.
