Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks an experienced laboratory leader to oversee operational excellence across Clinical Laboratory Services. In this high-visibility role, you'll partner with pathology leadership, guide managers, drive quality and regulatory standards, and shape the future of laboratory medicine.

The position reports to the Director of the Laboratory and requires a Bachelor's (Master's preferred) and 8 years CLS experience with 3 years supervisory, plus ASCP or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's preferred.
• 8 years Clinical Laboratory Services experience; 3 years supervisory experience.
• Certifications: ASCP AMER SOC CLIN PATH or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and compliance of the Clinical Laboratory Service line; monitor performance and implement improvements.
• Support Directors and leadership to achieve clinical and administrative goals.
• Meet financial goals; monitor budget and resources to optimize costs.
• Mentor and develop staff; promote continuous learning and process improvement.
• Lead departmental strategic planning and drive standards of care.
