Job summary

La Petite Academy is seeking an Assistant Director to help run our Pensacola, FL childcare center. You will ensure safe, quality operations alongside the School Director and step in when the Director is unavailable.

You will promote social, physical, and intellectual growth for children, recruit and retain staff, and uphold licensing and center standards to deliver exceptional care and education.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, effective operation of the school.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Assist in promoting a positive image of the company and community presence.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
