Job summary

J.Crew Group is seeking a Designer in New York to collaborate with Design Directors, develop concepts, color stories, fabrics, trims and graphics, and create compelling presentation boards.

You will research seasonal trends, assist with specs from concept to design cards, and work with Production to maintain design intent through production. 0–2 years design experience and an Apparel Design degree are required; strong illustration and color skills are essential.

• Collaborate with Design Directors to create concepts, color stories, fabrics, trims, and graphics.
• Prepare presentation boards with illustrations, CAD artwork, fabrication, and samples.
• Research seasonal trends, colors, raw materials, styling, and trims.
• Prepare specs with Technical Design from concept to design cards.
• Coordinate with Production to maintain concepts through production.
