Raley's is seeking an Assistant Deli Team Lead in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on providing superior customer service and leading a deli/bistro team while upholding high quality standards for all deli items.

You will direct staff in the absence of the Team Leader, ensure goals are met, and coordinate with store leadership to maintain stock and merchandising standards. A fast-paced environment requires attentiveness to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel in the absence of the Team Leader, meeting goals, and coordinating with store leadership.
• Oversee deli/bistro food preparation and merchandising for hot cases, salads, pizzas, and other meal items.
• Display deli merchandise following deli/food guidelines.
• Rotate items to ensure quality, freshness, and shrink control.
• Adhere to county, city, and company food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Receive merchandise and supplies, audit invoices, and stock in storage areas.
• Monitor pricing, signage, and shelf placement as well as shelf tags.
• Maintain clean, neat counters, prep areas, and storage spaces.
• Operate safely around slicers, ovens, and burners.
• Take customer orders and ensure timely completion to satisfaction.
• All other related duties as assigned.
