Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager in Sparks, NV to lead one of the store’s busiest teams and deliver excellent customer service. You will assist in managing the deli department, coordinating production, inventory, and staffing to meet quality and sales goals.

The role requires supervisory experience in deli or food service, strong communication, and a focus on safety and operations. A flexible schedule is expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or lead experience in deli or food service is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good written and verbal communication; ability to take directions and lead a team.
• Strong leadership to build, motivate and manage staff; understand payroll and sales metrics.
• Food safety certification and adherence to safety standards are required.
• Strong organizational and planning skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and Deli team supervision.
• Coordinate production, merchandising and sales through planning and teamwork.
• Support in hiring, training, and developing the Deli team.
• Unloading deliveries, operating deli equipment, and maintaining equipment.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
