Colorado School of Mines is seeking an Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Studies to lead curricular strategy, coordinate accreditation efforts, and drive higher‑level academic initiatives. The role partners with Student Life, CASA, Career Center, and other campus units to align instructional practice with student success and workforce readiness.

• Master’s degree in higher education, curriculum and instruction, assessment, or related field.
• Experience leading complex projects in academic administration and governance.
• Strong collaboration with faculty, students, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Lead Undergraduate Curriculum Strategy, Innovation, and Program Leadership.
• Advance strategic academic initiatives and coordinate cross‑campus partnerships.
• Support accreditation work (ABET/HLC) and policy implementation.
• Represent the Office of Undergraduate Studies in campus committees.
• Develop assessment mechanisms and report progress to leadership.
