Colorado School of Mines invites applications for Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Studies. This leadership role directs undergraduate curriculum strategy, assessment, accreditation support, and cross-campus collaboration to strengthen student progression and academic quality.

Reporting to the Dean, the Assistant Dean builds partnerships with Student Life, CASA, the Career Center, and other units to translate priorities into actionable programs.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in higher education, curriculum and instruction, assessment, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in higher education with curriculum, assessment, and accreditation.
• 5+ years leading multi-unit, cross-campus initiatives.
• Experience working in shared governance with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with ABET and HLC accreditation is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead curriculum strategy and innovation across undergraduate studies.
• Coordinate ABET/HLC accreditation support and policy implementation.
• Provide office leadership and representation on campus committees.
• Foster partnerships with Student Life, Career Center, CASA, and other units.
• Drive assessment, data-informed planning, and improvement of student outcomes.
