Job summary

Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences seeks a Senior Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Education, Curriculum and Special Programs to lead the undergraduate curriculum strategy and governance. You will work with faculty to shape policy, support curriculum development, and guide flagship programs such as Independent Study and the Lemann and Mindich initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant work experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Ph.D. preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction, leadership and guidance for undergraduate education.
• Direct academic affairs operation including faculty support, curriculum management and training.
• Oversee Independent Study, Lemann Program and Mindich Program activities.
• Serve as Director of Studies in Special Concentrations and support related governance.
• Collaborate with faculty to align curricula with College goals.
