Job summary

Vista Viewpoint is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Corporate Controller and CFO in accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role provides leadership to Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Billing and helps build scalable accounting processes to support growth.

The position contributes to monthly close, financial reporting, audits, tax compliance, and process improvements across the accounting organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Construction or project-based accounting experience.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules for accuracy.
• Assist with preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
• Maintain the general ledger in accordance with GAAP and policies.
• Oversee payroll tax and sales/use tax compliance; coordinate audits.
