Job summary

DRB Homes is seeking an Assistant Controller to partner with the VP, Corporate Controller in a centralized accounting group. The role blends hands-on accounting with leadership, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination to support corporate and division accounting.

The ideal candidate will supervise accounting personnel, review work for accuracy, and own select accounting areas while driving efficiency and stronger controls in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of US GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience leading accounting professionals and reviewing their work.
• Strong analytic, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Senior and Staff Accountants with coaching and development.
• Oversee period-end close and reporting for assigned areas.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and policy documentation.
• Support audits, regulatory filings, and external inquiries.
