Job summary

The Nearview Group seeks an experienced Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations. This hands-on leader will report to the President, drive accurate reporting, improve processes, manage cash flow, and support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities include overseeing general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end close; preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual statements; budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls; and coordinating with external CPAs and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Prior experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and internal controls.
• Experience managing accounting staff and financial operations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with external CPA firms, auditors, banks, and other financial partners.
• Develop and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures.
• Monitor key financial metrics and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Support strategic planning, operational initiatives, and special projects.
