Cajun Industries, LLC is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Corporate Controller and CFO in overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. You will lead AP, Payroll, and Billing support, contribute to the monthly close, audits, and tax compliance, and drive process improvements to scale finance operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA preferred, and at least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Construction or project-based accounting experience.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accuracy.
• Assist with preparation and review of financial statements and management reporting.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and financial reporting processes per GAAP and company policies.
• Research accounting matters and provide technical accounting guidance as needed.
• Coordinate and support audits and regulatory reporting as required.
• Oversee payroll tax and sales/use tax compliance and related filings.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and ERP optimization across accounting functions.
