Zusammenfassung

Paek Management Group is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close for a portfolio of franchise businesses, including Jiffy Lube and Car Wash entities. You will oversee balance sheet reconciliations, coordinate year-end audits, and manage a small in-house team with an AP Manager and Senior Accountant.

Strong ERP skills and multi-entity, multi-location experience are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or CPA required.
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Experience managing month-end close and leading or supporting audits.
• Experience supervising and developing accounting staff.
• Multi-location accounting experience (automotive service, franchise, retail, or quick-service a plus).
• Multi-entity accounting experience.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills (Sage Intacct a plus); experience building SOPs and workflow documentation.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills; a self-starter in a lean organization.

Aufgaben

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close across franchises and entities.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules prepared by outsourced firm.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and debt schedules.
• Support internal and external financial reporting packages.
• Support store, entity, landlord, and intercompany setups and schedules.
• Provide data, reconciliations, and variance analysis for budgeting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with operations on P&L performance and reporting needs.
• Maintain audit-ready accounting records.
