Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting.
• Minimum 2 years as an Accounting Manager with direct staff management.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting standards.
• Prior experience contributing to financial audits.
• Strong systems and automation experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
• Experience with multi-entity structures and intercompany transactions.
• Non-profit, affordable housing, or government funding/grants experience.

Responsibilities

• Audit Lead: oversee third-party audits of portfolio properties and consolidate schedules.
• General Accounting: manage accounts payable/receivable and prepare financial statements.
• Management & Administration: supervise accounting staff and drive process improvements.
• Other Duties: perform additional tasks as assigned.
