Job summary

Damora Therapeutics, Inc. in Boston is seeking an Assistant Controller to own day-to-day accounting operations, close books, and manage external SEC reporting.

This hybrid role requires hands-on discipline while partnering with the Controller to implement processes and strengthened controls as the company scales. You will oversee month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and support for SEC filings, tax provisioning, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or public company.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and Excel; familiarity with SOX.

Responsibilities

• Close monthly, quarterly, and annual books in FloQast.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Assist SEC filings (10-Q/10-K) in Active Disclosure.
• Maintain SOX controls documentation and testing.
• Collaborate with IT on NetSuite ERP and AI-enabled tools.
