Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 15+ years of related experience in public accounting and biotech/pharma sectors.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• In-depth SOX knowledge and experience implementing financial controls.
• Ability to manage month-end close, audits and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting team to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and annual close.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations and SOX.
• Oversee SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
