Job summary

Charter Vista Holdings in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an Assistant Controller to strengthen the financial foundation of a rapidly growing landscaping platform. This role reports to the VP of Operations and leads month-end closings, reconciliations, and internal controls across operating companies.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 6+ years of accounting, GAAP proficiency, and CPA or MBA is a plus. Expertise in QuickBooks Desktop and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 6+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software, especially QuickBooks Desktop.
• CPA or MBA is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with operating companies to finalize financial statements.
• Support treasury functions, cash flow management, and forecasting.
• Assist with audits and disclosure requirements.
• Help implement accounting policies and internal controls.
