Job summary

Vaco by Highspring, Atlanta-based, seeks an Assistant Corporate Controller (Director) to lead the accounting function, drive timely financial reporting, and ensure SOX compliance. The role reports to Corporate Controller and oversees GL, consolidated reporting, and fixed assets in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

You will drive a rapid close, coordinate audits, and partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA required.
• 9–11+ years of progressive accounting experience including public accounting and corporate leadership.
• Strong background in consolidations, policy interpretation, and new standard implementations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger operations, consolidated financial reporting, and fixed asset accounting.
• Drive accelerated close processes and coordinate audits.
• Build and sustain a SOX compliance structure and governance across the organization.
