Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Operational knowledge of GAAP & SOX requirements.
• Excellent communication skills driving results while fostering team cohesion.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for the Accounting team ensuring accuracy and timeliness while ensuring GAAP-compliance.
• Review information developed within the department and provide assistance as required.
• Issue invoices, MSOs, warranty papers, etc.
• Bank reconciliation and posting of cash receipts.
• Payroll oversight, review & approval; including filing/payments of taxes/withholdings.
• Partner with corporate tax for analysis, audits and reporting requirements.
• Provide income tax information for the corporation.
• Maintain fixed asset ledger and AFE records.
• Review Accounts Payable and obtain necessary approvals.
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
• Develop and implement internal controls and conduct regular audits.
• Oversee process improvements and SOP development.
• Assist in the Annual Operating Plan preparation.
• Assist auditors as needed.
• Reconcile office payroll.
• Mentor finance staff for career development.
• Coordinate control of international credit instruments and related activities.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
