Job summary

Blueprint Technologies, LLC in Bellevue, WA is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead daily accounting operations and support the Controller in delivering accurate financial reporting. You will oversee the monthly close, maintain internal controls, and improve processes while partnering with cross‑functional teams across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• At least five years of progressive accounting experience coordinating operations or leading close activities.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, and payroll accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities.
• Hands-on, collaborative approach and willingness to support routine accounting activities and process improvements.
• Clear written and verbal communication, ability to explain accounting information to nonfinancial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including billing, AR, AP, payroll accounting, and general ledger activities.
• Coordinate the monthly close, prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Review results, investigate discrepancies, and explain variances.
• Oversee client billing, collections, vendor payments, and payroll processing.
• Support revenue recognition and project accounting; review contracts and schedules.
• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts with proper documentation.
• Apply internal controls and escalate accounting issues as needed.
• Develop and support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Prepare audit schedules, tax prep, and reporting obligations.
• Partner with Delivery, Client Development, HR, and others to resolve questions.
• Support system enhancements and automation initiatives.
