Job summary

Blueprint Technologies, LLC. seeks an Assistant Controller to lead daily accounting operations and the monthly close. You will partner with teams across the business to ensure accurate GAAP reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient processes in a hybrid Bellevue, WA environment.

You’ll manage billing, AR/AP, payroll, and project accounting, support revenue recognition, and drive budgeting and cash flow analysis. A hands‑on, collaborative leader is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience with close activities.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with AR, AP, billing and payroll accounting.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/MS 365 proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including billing, AR, AP, payroll and GL.
• Coordinate monthly close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements under US GAAP.
• Review results, investigate discrepancies, and explain variances.
• Oversee client billing, collections, vendor payments, and payroll processing.
• Support revenue recognition and project accounting.
• Maintain GL and chart of accounts with proper documentation.
• Develop budgeting, forecasting, cash reporting, and cash flow planning.
• Prepare audit schedules, tax filings, and reporting obligations.
• Collaborate with Delivery, Client Development, HR to resolve questions.
• Support system enhancements, reporting improvements, and automation.
