AccessIT Group is hiring an Assistant Controller to join our finance team in the United States. This role supports the Controller through the monthly close, technical accounting research, payroll and commissions, and cash management processes.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 4+ years of accounting experience, and prior public accounting exposure; CPA is a plus. This position emphasizes accuracy, organization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Public Accounting experience is required.
• CPA designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close and maintain all support and workpapers.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations to ensure GAAP accounting for deals.
• Perform technical accounting research.
• Manage sales taxes through the Avalara system.
• Assist the Controller on payroll and commission inputs and calculations.
• Oversee weekly cash management and monthly cash balance reconciliation.
• Supervise customer invoicing and collections processes.
• Assist with income tax remittances and accounting.
• Support annual audit coordination and documentation gathering.
• Handle ad hoc accounting projects as needed.
