Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS), a Dover Corporation company, is seeking an Assistant Controller – Financial Reporting & Controls in Austin, TX. You will lead regional close, reporting, and governance, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong control environments across North America.

The role requires deep technical accounting, leadership, and collaboration with regional teams, shared services, and external auditors to drive continuous improvement and accurate financial results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong technical accounting.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Public accounting or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Ability to lead accounting processes and influence across teams.
• Experience with ERP/ERP consolidation tools such as Oracle/OneStream is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting for regional entities.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial results and accurate schedules.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and reserves.
• Coordinate regional consolidation and provide guidance to accounting teams.
• Drive internal controls, audits, and remediation of deficiencies.
• Partner with shared services and auditors to maintain strong governance.
