Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience; 3+ years in project-based accounting for professional services.
• 3+ years hands-on Deltek Ajera including project setup, billing, reporting, month-end close.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and revenue recognition for professional services.
• Experience with government contract billing (cost plus fixed fee, time & materials).
• Advanced Excel skills; on-site Irving, TX.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close and financial reporting under GAAP.
• Oversee A/P and A/R, vendor payments, and collections.
• Lead project accounting, billing, and reporting for projects.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and assist with budgets/forecasts.
• Coordinate with CPAs for audits and tax filings.
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure internal controls.
