Job summary

Purchasing Power, LLC is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead accounting operations and develop the accounting team as we continue to grow. Reporting to the Controller, this role oversees the financial close cycle, manages an Accounting Manager and an AP Manager, and champions process automation and ERP excellence across the accounting function.

The role requires CPA with 13+ years of progressive experience, strong US GAAP/SOX knowledge, and extensive ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle,

Qualifications

• CPA with 13+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including public accounting and fintech/SaaS exposure.
• Expert-level knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance; hands-on monthly close and audit readiness.
• Minimum 4+ years of direct people management experience leading accounting staff and managers.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with large ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday) and ERP migrations is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-powered accounting tools and automation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial close cycle and prepare audit-ready deliverables.
• Design, implement and monitor internal controls with external auditors.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team and report structures.
• Oversee ERP system enhancements and migrations; drive automation to improve reporting efficiency.
• Support treasury functions and cash management as a back-up.
