The role requires 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, a CPA, and experience with NetSuite ERP. This hybrid position involves 4 days in office and 1 day work-from-home, supporting scalable processes for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of accounting experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
• Background in consumer products, retail, or eCommerce is ideal.
• Experience with ERP systems, NetSuite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility, with a strong background in consumer products, retail, or eCommerce. A CPA is required, along with expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and ERP systems. Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Oversee audit processes and coordinate with external auditors and tax partners
• Manage fixed assets, cash flow forecasting, and overall financial controls
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements, including sales and use tax
• Maintain and improve accounting systems, processes, and internal controls
• Partner cross‑functionally to support business performance and reporting needs
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and SG&A spend controls
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
• 10+ years of accounting experience with progressive leadership responsibility
• Background in consumer products, retail, or eCommerce environments is ideal
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
