Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a high-growth Medical Device company in Plano, TX. The Assistant Controller will lead the month-end close, GAAP reporting, and internal controls in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on leadership style.

The role requires 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, a CPA, and experience with NetSuite ERP. This hybrid position involves 4 days in office and 1 day work-from-home, supporting scalable processes for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of accounting experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
• Background in consumer products, retail, or eCommerce is ideal.
• Experience with ERP systems, NetSuite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Oversee audit processes and coordinate with external auditors and tax partners.
• Manage fixed assets, cash flow forecasting, and internal controls.
