Job summary

Spurwink is seeking an Assistant Controller to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of financial information while supporting the Controller in accounting and budgeting processes and strengthening internal control environments.

This role oversees payroll, accounts payable, and compliance, driving leadership and process improvements across the finance function at Spurwink in Maine. It also emphasizes ongoing professional development and adherence to federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or other appropriate technical undergraduate degree.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a field related to the administration of finances is required.
• Experience in supervision of staff is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
