Job summary

MKH Search Limited is seeking an Assistant Controller for a mid-size contractor in Doral, FL. This in-office role offers mentorship toward the Controller position and exposure to senior leadership, PMs, and multiple business arms.

You will be a key finance partner, manage monthly closes, and help prepare financial statements as you grow into leadership. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in accounting, CPA preferred, and demonstrates strong communication and leadership potential.

Qualifications

• QuickBooks and Procore experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop towards the Controller seat through direct mentorship
• Over time, lead and oversee a small team as the company grows

Assistant Controller | Mid-Size Contractor | Miami (Doral), FL

Our client is a family run general contractor in Florida that has been building for almost 40 years. They have a strong culture and exceptionally high tenure, with many people having been there since the very beginning. It is a tight knit, collaborative team that is ambitious with an open door policy.

They are hiring an Assistant Controller who will be mentored into the Controller seat.

You will report to the Controller, who gives a lot of autonomy and doesn\'t micromanage, but will give you the coaching and mentorship you need to grow your career. This is a highly visible role, and you will be a key partner to the Controller, the Executive Leadership and the Project Managers.
