Job summary

LHH US is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead the accounting and finance team. You will oversee monthly close, accounting functions, and cost accounting while driving SOX compliance and process improvements. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on engagement with operations.

Candidates should have a BS in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of accounting experience, and preferably a CPA or CMA. Expect 40–50 hour weeks with potential overtime during close; compensation ranges from

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA a plus.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in larger organizations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX/internal controls.
• Demonstrated management skills with ability to develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Monthly close, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statements oversight.
• Oversee AP, AR, and general accounting functions.
• Manage standard costing processes and cost accounting activities.
• Improve SOX compliance and related processes.
• Provide hands-on leadership with focus on data management and deadlines.

This job

• Monthly close, accruals, reconciliation, financial statements and oversight of the day to day accounting
• Oversight of AP, AR, General Accounting
• Standard Cost Accounting
• Improve the SOX adherence and process.
• Strong team leadership but still very hands on, strong with Data Management
• Process Improvement, accountability, and deadline management

Looking for

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CMA is nice to have
• 5+ years of Accounting experience, preferring larger companies
• Strong US GAAP, SOX/Internal Controls
• Solid Management skills; Can grow and develop a team
• Manufacturing experience is preferred, but others may work
• Standard Cost Accounting knowledge is preferred

Pay Details

$141,000.00 to $176,000.00 per year
