Assistant Controller

Location: Hybrid, Atlanta, GA

Base Pay Range: $160,000.00/yr – $180,000.00/yr

Employment Type: Full-time (Mid‑Senior level, Accounting/Auditing)

Compensation and Benefits: Based on skill and experience. Eligibility for discretionary bonuses, and participation in medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) retirement plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations in line with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• Ensure internal controls, compliance, and support audit readiness.
• Collaborate with tax and M&A consultants for acquisition integration and financial reporting.
• Lead and mentor accounting staff, fostering process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing/distribution.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.
• CPA certification required.
• Proficiency in SAP.
