Job summary

Ryan Companies US Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate the work of employees, subcontractors and project management on the jobsite to ensure on-time and on-budget completion.

Responsibilities include safety administration, subcontractor management, CPM scheduling, budget awareness, blueprint reading, procurement support, and enforcing safety and quality controls on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read blueprints, plans and specifications.
• Problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and seek help when needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer project safety per Ryan safety policies and procedures and develop a job-specific Job Safety/Hazard Analysis for their portion of work.
• Manage subcontractors in the performance of their work.
• Develop and understand a CPM schedule and track that schedule.
• Understand the entire construction budget and work within their portion of the budget for their work.
• Read and comprehend blueprints, plans and specifications and provide proper direction to project personnel.
• Assist with material procurement.
• Enforce site-specific Project Safety Manual and engage in Quality Control practices.
