Job summary

Invoke Staffing is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on commercial, charter school, and K-12 projects in the Upstate SC region. You will work directly with Lead Superintendents, gaining exposure to scheduling, quality control, safety, and site management.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in commercial construction (Field Engineer, Foreman, or Assistant Superintendent).
• Strong blueprint reading skills (Architectural, Structural, MEP).
• OSHA 10/30 certification or ability to obtain.
• Must live in or near Greenville, Easley, Boiling Springs area with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day site operations and schedule execution.
• Coordinate subcontractors and inspect daily work to keep trades on schedule.
• Enforce OSHA standards and maintain site safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain daily logs, track materials, process RFIs, and document site progress.
• Assist with municipal inspections (building, MEP, fire).

Assistant Superintendent

Location: Upstate SC (Greenville, Boiling Springs, Easley w/some regional travel required)

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 Bonus

What You’ll Do

• Site Operations: Assist with day-to-day job site management, quality control, and schedule execution.
• Trade Management: Coordinate subcontractors, inspect daily work, and keep trades on schedule.
• Safety First: Enforce OSHA standards, conduct site talks, and keep job sites secure and clean.
• Field Admin: Keep daily logs, track material deliveries, process RFIs, and document site progress.
• Inspections: Help walk municipal building, MEP, and fire inspections.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1-3 years in commercial construction (Field Engineer, Foreman, or Assistant Super).
• Skills: Strong blueprint reading skills (Architectural, Structural, MEP) and basic site software knowledge (Procore or similar).
• Certifications: OSHA 10/30 (or ability to obtain).
• Location: Must live in or near the Greenville, Boiling Springs, or Easley area. Valid driver’s license required.
• Mindset: Reliable self-starter with great communication skills and a desire to lead projects independently.
