Job summary

Asset Living in Gainesville, FL is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of our housing community, reporting to the Community Manager and ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

You will supervise onsite staff, handle leasing, maintenance coordination, reporting, and ensure timely posting of payments while supporting budgeted revenues and NOI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 years housing industry experience.
• Ability to use onsite property management software and basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Manage delinquency and rent collections to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise onsite staff and leasing activities.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare end-of-month reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
