Job summary

Founders Property Management in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to deliver excellent customer service, oversee leasing office operations, and help show and lease apartments to prospective tenants. The role requires interacting with residents, handling inquiries, processing leases, and maintaining files while upholding company policies.

Weekend availability is required, and candidates with residential property management or real estate experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Residential property management or real estate experience.
• Availability and flexibility to work weekends.
• Strong communication, influencing and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Meets with prospective tenants and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
• Assists prospects in viewing model apartments and discusses size and layout of rooms, available facilities, such as swimming pool and saunas, location of shopping centers, services available, and terms of lease.
• Completes lease forms or agreements, ensuring that resident files are accurate and maintained in a secure place.
• Keeps track of approval process of each lease file by contacting previous landlords, employers, etc.
• Answers incoming phone calls and handles each call accordingly.
• Compiles listings of available units for rent and creates advertisements reflecting current market pricing.
• Represents the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Deals with resident concerns and requests on timely basis to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Distributes community notices (bad weather, emergency, etc.).
• Regularly walks the grounds and available units to communicate inventory.
• Upholds policies of the community.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Interact with customers while helping with housing needs.
