Job summary

Mark-Taylor is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for its Niro community in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on day-to-day property operations, including maintenance coordination, financial processing, and providing five-star resident service to maintain a welcoming home environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of multifamily management experience, strong customer service, leasing and sales skills, and the ability to lead by example while upholding Mark-Taylor’s values.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Assistant Community Manager or Assistant Manager role in multifamily property management.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in administrative tasks, accounting processes, reporting, and daily operations.
• Proven leasing and sales ability to drive occupancy goals.
• Excellent organization and time management with attention to detail.
• Leadership ability to support team development and accountability.
• Familiarity with Mark-Taylor core values and creating a welcoming environment.
• Experience with resident relations and conflict resolution preferred.
• Knowledge of property management systems and software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage community accounting activities: deposits, collections, rent input, weekly/monthly financials.
• Ensure legal documents are prepared and served to residents.
• Assist lease transactions: prepare leases, review applicant histories, process move-ins/outs.
• Respond promptly to inquiries to improve resident satisfaction and retention.
• Answer questions about the community, repairs, rent, and policies.
• Support community cleanliness and curb appeal on an ongoing basis.
• Plan and participate in resident functions as directed by Community Manager.
• Assist with leasing responsibilities as needed.
