Job summary

University Partners is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support daily property operations, leasing performance, and resident services. This role assists with staff supervision, leasing approvals, marketing execution, and financial coordination while preparing to manage the community in the Community Manager’s absence.

You will monitor lease activity, coordinate move-ins/outs, and contribute to events and campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager in supervising and training the leasing team to ensure standards and Fair Housing compliance.
• Review and approve lease applications according to criteria and verify file accuracy.
• Ensure Entrata data integrity for traffic, leases, renewals, and work orders.
• Meet with Community Manager and Market Director to discuss leasing issues and performance.
• Monitor daily lease approvals and renewal updates.
• Maintain Marketing Calendar including campus outreach, promotions, and advertising.
• Conduct monthly market surveys and recommend pricing adjustments.
• Track leasing activity, occupancy, and roommate matching support.
• Suggest marketing actions and execute plans to meet leasing goals.
• Assist with move-in/move-out coordination and resident communications.
• Support community events, promotional initiatives, and expense submission.
• Oversee social media and community communications prior to publication.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, and vendors.
• Step into Community Manager role when needed and support overall operations.
