Halverson and Blaiser Group, Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in daily operations at a Minneapolis property. The role covers marketing, administration, leasing, maintenance, security, record keeping and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in property management with LIHTC experience and strong communication skills. The job offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of low income housing Tax Credit compliance experience.
• Tax credit knowledge.
• Maintain highest occupancy possible.
• Walk apartments once resident turns in notice.
• Prepare for move ins, renovations, and turns timely.
• Monitor Advertising sources; IE: Internet, print ads, and locator services.

Responsabilités

• Maintain regular office hours.
• Handle resident concerns/problems.
• Enforce lease agreements, as well as house/community policies.
• Prepare/process all documents related to rent.
• Document all changes in the resident file.
• Monitor and supervise contracted services and vendors.
• Keep Outlook open, respond to emails and voicemails in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide leasing assistance per property needs.

Connaissances

2+ years LIHTC experience

Tax credit knowledge

Excellent communication skills

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

Property Management certification preferred
