Job summary

Mill Creek Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support performance standards and all aspects of community operations in Oceanside, CA. This role fosters associate development, acts as MOD in the Community Manager’s absence, and assists with scheduling while guiding senior leasing staff to improve the sales process.

You will handle lease applications, data entry, and reporting, ensure compliance with laws, and maintain a top-tier resident experience across marketing,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED), Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2 years multi-family leasing or related property management experience
• Commitment to outstanding customer service
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Multifamily, retail or hospitality experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet residents warmly and determine needs and preferences
• Handle calls and service requests promptly and professionally
• Complete lease applications and notify applicants of results timely
• Maintain accurate records and reports in information systems
• Ensure property and models are kept to market-ready standards
• Support marketing efforts and social media as directed
• Assist with move-ins, renewals, and resident communications
