Royal American Companies is hiring an Assistant Community Manager in Memphis, TN. Under the Community Manager, you will assist with leasing, resident relations, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth property operations.

The role requires organization, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, including marketing campaigns and budget support. A high school diploma is required and HUD/LIHTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year property management experience preferred.
• Experience in affordable housing, HUD and/or Tax Credit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, welcoming environment for residents and guests.
• Assist in leasing, screening, and selecting prospective residents per program rules.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions affecting leasing and operations.
• Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns for leasing
• Monitor rent collection and assist in preparing operating budgets
• Support in overseeing vendor compliance and maintenance workflows
• Inspect units and common areas for turnover readiness and cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with applicants, residents, vendors and supervisors.
