Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for a HUD/LIHTC–experienced role in Washington. Under the Community Manager, you will ensure efficient community operations and step in during their absence.

The position requires HUD experience, strong leasing skills, and the ability to supervise leasing staff, with a focus on maintaining curb appeal and consistent resident service. The work is on-site with non-exempt hourly status.

Qualifications

• HUD experience required.
• Fair Housing certification within 1 day of hire.
• Ability to supervise in Community Manager's absence.
• Strong organization for leasing and office staff.

Responsibilities

• Efficient and timely reporting, maintenance and submission of all administrative forms, files and reports.
• Assisting the Community Manager in orientation, training and scheduling of leasing and office personnel.
• Inspect model, office and vacant units to ensure marketability and organized on-site office files.
• Maintain awareness of the community curb appeal and competitive pricing.
• Lease to qualified prospects and assist with renewals and resident follow-up.
• Manage inventory and ordering of administrative supplies for the office staff.
• Ensure professional appearance and behavior of staff at all times.
• Apply leasing techniques and current rental rate knowledge; stay informed on amenities.
