Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Las Vegas, NV. The role supports the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community, with a focus on resident service, reporting, and property operations.

Responsibilities include managing files, processing applications, coordinating evictions with counsel, and ensuring model apartments are showroom-ready, while maintaining policy knowledge and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• 6 months experience in the property management industry
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Organization skills with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports
• Use customer service and sales techniques to handle resident requests
• Collect monies due and oversee audits, evictions, skips, and move-outs
• Coordinate with outside counsel during eviction processes
• Finalize move in/out and renewals files and enter data into property management software
• Oversee resident renter’s insurance process
• Collect deposits and process applications
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability and policies
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses for informational material
• Conduct outreach marketing and shop surrounding properties
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times
