Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners seeks an Assistant Community Manager to assist in leasing, resident relations, and financial tasks across our award-winning apartment communities. You will partner with the Community Manager to lead leasing efforts, respond to resident concerns, and ensure accurate rent collection and renewals, while helping to drive engagement and a welcoming community environment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required or equivalent.
• Two years of property management experience preferred.
• Six months of assistant community manager experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• CALP accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support leasing efforts by conducting tours, responding to leads, and guiding prospects through the leasing process.
• Identify prospect needs, showcase available homes, and invite them to join the community.
• Ensure lease applications, renewals, and related documents are completed accurately and on time.
• Meet occupancy goals through leasing performance and resident retention; manage content for social channels to highlight events and engagement.
• Oversee rent collection, billing, and payment posting; monitor delinquencies and coordinate eviction procedures as needed.
