Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the property in Sandy, Utah. The role emphasizes customer service, occupancy management, lease administration, and cooperation with legal counsel during evictions, with a clear path for advancement within AMC's competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Organization skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Provide customer service and sales techniques for resident requests.
• Collect all monies due and oversee audit evictions, skips, and move-outs by walking units to evaluate occupancy.
• Communicate with outside legal counsel during eviction processes.
• Finalize move in/out and renewals files and enter data into property management software.
• Oversee resident renter’s insurance procedures.
• Collect deposits and process applications for future residents.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, market conditions, and policies.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses for informational materials.
• Shop surrounding properties and conduct outreach marketing.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
